In Work Skills – Transfer Best Practice

Overview

The In Work Skills, Transfer Best Practice module has been devised using business improvement methodologies that are used to analyse and identify areas where processes, quality and efficiency can be improved. Business process improvement works by identifying the standard operating procedures or employee skills that could be improved, encouraging efficiencies in workflows, and promoting overall business growth.

Overview

• Sharing experiences and transferring best practices of improvement techniques from Advanced Manufacturing sectors to other key sectors.

• Introducing learners to the knowledge, skills, attitude and behaviour required to acknowledge the best practices from the advanced manufacturing sectors and revisit them in their own business sector’s environment.

• Analysing and documenting knowledge of the best practices to identify what makes them effective. Revisiting the root causes that generated the business improvement needs, the data collected and analysed and impact of the solution adopted on business performance.
