Darlington College is a committed partner of the North East Institute of Technology, working collaboratively to strengthen the region’s higher‑level technical skills pipeline. 

Through our course offer, we help businesses build talent in digital technologies, advanced manufacturing, engineering, and professional business skills. Our curriculum is shaped directly by employer insight, ensuring that learners gain the practical, industry‑ready expertise that drives productivity and innovation.

We work closely with organisations of all sizes to design tailored workforce development solutions from upskilling existing staff to preparing the next generation of highly skilled technicians and professionals. Looking ahead, Darlington College is investing further in the region’s skills infrastructure with the development of a new STEM Centre, opening in 2028. This multi million pound, state‑of‑the‑art facility will expand our capacity to deliver cutting‑edge technical training, support emerging industries and provide employers with even greater opportunities to shape the future workforce.
