Overview
This course is designed to engage students in the knowledge and skills required for a career in construction and the built environment. You will develop a knowledge and understanding of the issues relating to the building of structures in the natural environment along with the importance of good design.
A key focus of the course with be on maths and estimating as these skills are transferable within all modules.

Maths in Construction
Health, Safety and Welfare issues relating to the Construction and Built Environment Sector
Building Regulations and Control for Construction and the Built Environment
Construction Technology and Design
Sustainability in Construction and the Built Environment
Project Management in Construction and the Built Environment
This qualification will provide you with a range of transferable skills so that you can progress onto a range of our HE courses.
Past students have progressed onto our BSc (Hons) Estate Design, Development and Management programme. After completing this degree you are well equipped to pursue a career in construction, design, housing, estate management, project management, social and urban renewal.
