Overview
This programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills to pursue a career in civil engineering.
You will apply critical reasoning and analysis techniques to solve engineering problems and develop your personal and management skills to prepare you for the demands of a professional civil engineering environment.
You will study modules that focus on areas such as construction technology, construction practice and management, construction information, principles of structural design, maths, surveying, science and materials, and you will undertake an individual project.
You could progress to a HND in Civil Engineering at New College Durham or progress to study a relevant subject at university.
