Overview
This is a one year top-up course which will build on learners’ previous achievement of L3 Award/Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
This pathway specialises in a career in Mechanical Engineering.
There are options for direct entry to this course if you have achieved a L3 Award/Certificate outside of Tyne Coast College.
There are options for adults to join this course on a part time or full time basis delivered over one or two years.

Successful completion of this programme allows progression into higher education such as BTEC HNC/D and undergraduate engineering degree qualifications (Note: entry requirements for universities vary, therefore if university is your planned destination please check what you require to ensure you choose the right level 3 course).
You could also progress into employment, or a Higher apprenticeship with an employer.
