T Level in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control

Overview

The T Level in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control will help you enhance your knowledge and skills around common core engineering and will also include the study of one occupational specialism, as well as an industry placement.

One of the following pathways will be followed:

  • Fitting and assembly technologies

  • Machining and tool making technologies

  • Fabrication and welding technologies

Progression from a Engineering & Manufacturing T Level will be into one of the following routes:

  • Apprenticeship in an occupational specialism/trade*
    – Higher apprenticeship (Level 4, Level 5 & Level 6)
    – Higher education
    – Employment

* For progression into an apprenticeship the centre and employer will conduct an initial assessment and recognise prior learning. The centre, employer and apprentice will then agree on the duration of the accelerated apprenticeship.
